| 3rd Line Helpdesk / Senior IT Support Analyst Engineer - Godalming, Surrey
Senior IT Support Analyst / Engineer with relevant experience of at least 5 years and Microsoft Accreditation essential.
This role is primarily based at our offices but also may require visits to client?s premises as required. The role is centered on the hardware and software located at our client's offices. Predominantly based on Microsoft technology but you must have a broad knowledge of other standard applications. This is an great opportunity to work within an experienced and dedicated team of IT support professionals who enjoy an excellent working relationship with all our clients.
Applicants must have previous experience in a substantial helpdesk or support role. A minimum of 3 years (ideally more) server based installation/support experience is required.
- Networking (TCP/IP, WAN, VPN, Firewalls, DSL Routers, vLANs).
- Server Operating Systems (Windows Server 2000/2003/2008).
- Server Applications (Exchange 2000/2003/2007, SQL Server).
- Terminal Services and Citrix.
- Desktop OS + Apps + associated peripherals.
- Internet Domain/DNS management.
Other essential skills are a good telephone manner, customer focus and excellent trouble shooting skills.
You may be required to work additional hours as required and to work to a shift system between 08:00 - 19:00 which may lead to working some weekends as required. |
